"Gone South for the fishing…"

I decided to have a quick trip to Pemberton to catch some trout.  No luck with the fish but in the early hours of the morning, I awoke with severe pains in my chest and left arm.  Staying about 20kms from Pemberton we made the decision to drive to the hospital.  It was our last night at our hotel so we packed up and set out for the hospital.

We arrived early in the morning, and I was quickly diagnosed with a heart attack - pretty scary!

Long story short…I felt that the the team at Pemberton hospital are absolutely amazing!

I felt they swung into action demonstrating great care, knowledge and professionalism.   Who knew that you could have a Telehealth consult with a cardiologist miles away……and that you would be treated by, in my opinion, such a fantastic process, including the Manjimup Volunteer Ambulance Service and the RFDS.

We cannot emphasise enough the care demonstrated by the fantastic team I saw in Pemberton - I have no doubt at all that without your help the outcome could have been so different!
