"Post eyelid surgery consultation at SEH Oculoplastic linic"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Outpatient Department (Eyes & General)

(as the patient),

Recently I had my eyelid operation at SEH Day Procedure Unit to remove the basel cell carcinoma from the lower eyelid and more recently I attended the Oculoplastic Clinic for the post surgery consultation.

I had attended the Oculoplastic Clinic on two previous occasions so I felt quite at home with the visit.

As usual, I found the check in machine at the entrance was very user friendly and the staff at the Reception was very friendly and helpful and directed me to sit at the waiting room which was quite comfortable. The lady nurse who did the initial evaluation of my affected eye was very professional and friendly.

To my pleasant surprise the lady Ophthalmologist who examined my eye was very friendly and caring as well as very professional. She removed the stitches from my eyelid with no pain at all. She also informed me that all cancer had been removed which was very gratifying to hear.

My overall impression of the Oculoplastic Clinic is very positive and based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending the Oculoplastic Clinic at SEH to anyone who may need it someday.

Thank you for your very positive feedback. Our staff in the Oculoplastic Outpatient Clinic are an impressive team and it is always good to hear that the care was delivered in a professional and caring way. I will forward your feedback on to the team, they will truly appreciate your thanks and acknowledgement of a job well done.
