"The exceptional care of our baby"

A couple of months ago, we experienced the heartbreaking discovery of finding our little baby unconscious in the bath.

Following initial CPR that was carried out by my partner, within minutes I was home from work & we had them in the resuscitation room at our local Dalwallinu hospital.

I felt the staff were nothing short of absolutely incredible. Each & every nurse (including some who were off duty & rushed to the hospital to help) along with the Doctor & ambulance staff showed absolute professionalism in their care for our baby from the moment he arrived until the moment he was transferred onto the RFDS aircraft. The nurses & Doctor went above & beyond which was evident in the way they prepared for the unexpected with extra medication etc being prepared for the RFDS doctor before he was transferred via aircraft to Perth.

I recall the RFDS doctor told us 5 times between Dalwallinu & PCH that the level of care that our baby received from the staff at the Dalwallinu hospital was absolutely exceptional.

Our baby has since made a miracle full recovery & it brings us so much joy to be able to take our little baby back into the hospital to see the staff & express just how grateful we are.
