"Lactation Consultation Service"

After giving birth to my daughter, breastfeeding was a difficult journey that required the use of nipple shields. When I was feeling ready and confident with my ability I reached out to the Telehealth Lactation Support Service…and I’m so glad I did. 

I can’t express how wonderful our IBCLC, Di was. She listened to our story and I felt she went above and beyond to support us on our breastfeeding journey. I can happily say that I am no longer using nipple shields and have been experiencing pain free breastfeeding since accessing this service. 

I feel we are so lucky to have this service within WACHS and I hope it only continues to grow and get the recognition I believe it deserves.
