"Unnecessary aggression from nurse"

About: St John Urgent Care Centres

(as a parent/guardian),

I presented at urgent care with my child. I felt the 2 nurses to first see my child were lovely and gentle. The head nurse was Laura. A third nurse arrived, they administered the medication. I felt they were very abrupt and aggressive in their manner. Took my babies icy pole off  because they wouldn't willingly take the medicine and I recall told them off while I attempted to give them the Panadol.

I believe my child was clearly uncomfortable with the nurse's presence. I rushed to give them the medication to avoid further interference and moved my child away from them. My child was stressed. My child is not even 2 years old and I feel is obviously unwell. The nurse gave them back the icy pole and I recall told them that they didn't really deserve it for not being a good child. I felt stressed, uncomfortable and angry about how the nurse was treating my young child. But believe I was polite.
