"Excellent service at the hospital"

I recently saw the general surgeon in theatre at the Kununurra Hospital. From arrival in the ward to going in to theatre I feel I could not have asked for a more professional, caring, understanding team. I felt the ward nurses made sure I knew what was going on and that I was comfortable and not stressed. I found the theatre staff are absolutely amazing!

I was having a bit of a panic about getting my cannula in, Paula kept me calm and made sure I was ok. I thought Geoffrey & Jeremy, the anaesthetic doctors were both very good. Everything they were doing was explained to me and again I felt they did an amazing job of keeping me calm. Steph, the general surgeon also made sure I was ok and answered all of my questions.

Going back to the ward again, I found everyone was very good at keeping me informed about what was going on, how surgery went and what I could expect after the surgery. I found the Hotel Services staff were great as were the admin staff that checked me in. I honestly couldn’t ask for better care or service. I believe we are very lucky to have such exceptional medical staff in our town.
