I experienced sudden blindness in my right eye. There was white spots all over my right eye and this occurred suddenly with no signs to cause this issue. I had been transferred to the Sydney Eye Hospital and I was approached by the Macula Research Group. I felt the amount of care given was amazing. I found everyone there was so helpful and caring. I felt the staff, Hong and Daniel along with all the Dr's and other staff that took care of me, I can’t thank them enough. I think the Dr’s there are amazing, in their busy schedules they take the time to personalise the care and I am very fortunate that this level of care was given in such a hard time. I thank all the Drs at the Sydney eye Hospıtal

Thank you for your kind comment. Sudden blindness in one eye is a terrifying experience. Fortunately, most conditions that cause this can be treated these days. Sometimes the newest treatments are only available through clinical trials, where patients will receive either the standard treatment or the latest development. The Macula Research Group at the Sydney Eye Hospital has been a leading international clinical trials centre for over 20 years.
