I came to the emergency department with a painful eye infection and being nearsighted with no glasses, I was not seeing well. I found the staff were accommodating, guiding me to the right place.
The lady at the Reception explained the procedure and before long I was taken for triage, soon followed by a preliminary assessment to check my eye sight and pressure.
After an hour or so, I was able to see the eye doctor, Dr Niko, who I felt examined me thoroughly, whilst teaching a student and even helped my partner find his way to the examination room. We felt at ease and in good hands.
Following Dr’s orders, a couple of days later my pain and infection have relieved and I’m recovering nicely.
I’m impressed with everyone I met at the hospital who made sure I was well looked after. I found the Hospital felt like a place of care and not a cold clinical setting and that off putting sense one gets in hospitals was replaced by warmth.
I’d like to thank everyone on the team for a positive experience and great thanks especially to Dr Niko and to Sita at reception on my follow up appointment.
