I had right eye cataract extraction and intraocular lens implant at Sydney Eye Hospital.
Right from reception to nursing staff and the team of doctors were excellent.
Their detailed email with map was very useful in arriving to the hospital smoothly and on time. The blue arrows on the floor were very very helpful to navigate inside the building.
Administration officer Raveena was very cordial and helpful. A good starting at hospital made me feel welcomed, cared for and calmed me down.
Snr MO Dr. John's whole team showed professionalism and utmost care.
Supervising Proceduralist JMO Dr. Christopher, Senior Anaesthetist JMO Dr. John intoduced himself to me and made me feel confident and relaxed about the surgery. Pricipal Proceduralist Registrar Dr. Alice was very soft spoken, kind and competent professional. My surgery lasted for about 40+ minutes, I did not feel any anxiety, discomfort or inconvenience. Before I knew, the surgery was over to my utmost relief and satisfaction.
Supporting staff, all the members I dealt with were very respectful, courteous, cheerful and friendly. I felt like they are my caring family members.
Discharge Lounge Enrolled Nurse Lara was cheerfully smiling and answered my several queries patiently in a professional manner. And so was Registered Nurse Aldrich, jolly, smiling and caring.
In nutshell, the whole experience was very very uplifting for me.
My sincere gratitude to all these people and the backroom staff whom I did not meet face to face.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
