Can’t praise all the staff highly enough. Very special mention to nurse Aldrich. He was wonderful, so warm and helpful -made me feel so comfortable as I was a bit nervous. He is the nurse you think of when you want the best treatment.
But all the other nurses and staff were also great.
Unfortunately I was last on the list so waited from around 5 hours till the operation (fasting from for around 9 hours) although Aldrich suggested a walk outside which was appreciated. The last 75 minutes (pre- surgery) was spent on a bed in the Theatre waiting room with my pulse bleeping loudly on the machine.
Dr’s Simon, Josefina and Gupta were all wonderful, professional and reassuring.
