"My fathers fall"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My father who was visiting from New Zealand, collapsed and hit his head on a marble step. The experience was quite shocking as both my mother and I saw it occur but were too far away to support him as he fell. We were genuinely touched by the friendly and professional experience we had with the medical staff at Sydney hospital. It made a terrible accident far more bearable and we wished to thank all those involved for helping us and making us feel comfortable.

Dear ariesks86

Thank you for your feedback regarding your father's presentation to the Emergency Department at Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital, following his nasty fall. This must have been very distressing for you and your mother.

Feedback such as yours reaffirms the fantastic staff working with us. I have asked the manager of the Emergency Department to relay your kind words to the team. I trust your father is now recovering well from the fall and is able to continue to enjoy his visit.

Kind regards

Dr Pauline Rumma

Director of Clinical Services
