My parent was in Hurstville Private Hospital. While there they caught COVID which means they were then put into isolation. Because of this it seems they were often forgotten; on several occasions my parent only received their meal because they asked what had happened and when they received the meals which were of course then cold.
During this time my parent would also go several days without being given any updates on next steps/the health issue that initially took them to hospital etc.
My parent did not want to complain as they were concerned someone would "get in trouble"
