"Postnatal unit"

About: St George Hospital / 1 South Maternity

(as the patient),

After having a c section late at night my catheter had came unhooked between recovery and postnatal ward. I raised a concern that I was bleeding and was dismissed repeatedly. Then once that was fixed I buzzed for help to pick up my child and the midwife who came in burst into the room and stated, what do I want now. It was quite confronting as I was in an extremely vulnerable state. The treatment I received at the hands of the midwife has traumatised me and what should be a happy memory is scared by this apparent brutalisation.
