In my opinion, the hospital lacks clear signage, outdated labels and often seemingly looses referrals delaying treatment, complain to the complaints department and they never got back to me to confirm my complaint has been received, leave messages following up on the voice service and never get called or email back.

Overall absolutely disappointed and disgusting service from this hospital both the administration team who I feel are responsible for clear signage so patients can get to the dermatology department, and the very same department that I believe looses referrals even after confirming it was received, as for the complaints/feedback teams, based on my experience, do better I feel you are supposed to be there to resolve these issues, my next option is a complaint to the HCCC and Health minister and local area ministers.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your recent experience at St George Hospital. I am disheartened to hear that your experience has not met your expectations and you feel we could have provided a better service.

We value the feedback that our patients provide and will ensure that your experience regarding the lack of signage for our Dermatology Clinic is discussed at our Signage Committee. We will review and action any changes required to enable our patients to better locate the clinic. We will also provide feedback to the Dermatology Clinic to review their instructions for patients when they are confirming appointments.

I am sorry to hear that you feel that your complaint was not heard. When we receive an email that relates to a specific service it is our practice to follow up with the specific service to directly resolve the issue. I am sorry to hear that this approach resulted in you feeling unheard, this was definitely not our intention. We strive to resolve complaints or concerns as soon as possible.

Once again, our apologies that your experience has not met your expectations.
