"Beautiful and endearing admissions staff."

Wendy from admissions has gone above and beyond in supporting that I eventually got my surgery appointment through all the obstacles my body decided to throw in!. She has ensured that she followed up at every instance possible -well over a year of communicating clearly with me and if I can say actually gave a damn. I think she is a beautiful breath of fresh air in our current society  - she makes you feel human and not just  another 'number' -she has excellent sound advise and  the natural ability to think ahead and make suggestions.

I think, the hospital, if they don't already, should have a patient portal where admissions staff can add their comments (given that they hear a lot) so that all relevant Dr's nurses etc have a better patient understanding and maybe minimise your costings! (ie repairing more than one surgery at the same time where possible and reduce wait times)  I receive my surgery shortly and I'm so looking forward to it-i could dance around the hospital and good or bad an outcome -hey ho-everyone tried :-) Happy custonmer !

Thank you so much for your kind words which have really touched all of us, including our caregiver Wendy.

We appreciate your feedback about your admission process and it is clear that Wendy has provided a high standard of care for you during what must have been a difficult time.

Your suggestion about a patient portal has been noted and escalated to the Manager of Health Information Services to review. We certainly encourage our caregivers to make suggestions and report any concerns they have regarding the delivery of patient care.
