"Had a flexi cystoscopy"

About: Leongatha Memorial Hospital

(as the patient),

I have bladder cancer first diagnosis as t1 high grade tumour then my second diagnosis is a transitional cell carcinoma. Since my flexi cystoscopy I have no signs of cancer so I’m in remission at present.

The staff are wonderful and care about their patients, they treated me with great respect and dignity I can never fault the care. I was in day procedure I will always want to go there to have my cystoscopy because they know me now and understand I get very anxious due to my PTSD

Anxious, the staff are amazing and reassuring

Hello cafezk84

Thank you for sending through your feedback.

I am so glad to hear that you are currently in remission and that you also felt that you were cared for with dignity and respect.

After all you have experienced, I can understand why you would feel anxious when you have a procedure like this. I am sure that the staff will be pleased to know what a difference that they make.

Take care

Lou
