"Water birth experience and AMG"

I had the most amazing water birth and the aboriginal midwife group at king edward memorial hospital are absolutely awesome. Elly, my midwife gave me the confidence to have a water birth and advocated for me throughout. I feel like she went above and beyond to make sure I got the birthing experience I wanted, it ended up being so calming, relaxing and emotional as this is my rainbow baby after two previous losses. I couldn't recommend AMG enough, I'm hoping that this will inspire more women to pursue this as an option of birth and I hope that this opens up discussions to have more aboriginal midwife groups for all hospitals in Australia as this is such an important service to have and it should be accessible to all aboriginal mothers.
