"My son had Grommets done recently"

(as a parent/guardian),

My 1 year son had grommets done in Kununurra Hospital recently. The care we received from the theatre staff was excellent. I was upset seeing my son being put to sleep and the staff were very empathetic and supportive. The care during and after his surgery was exceptional from all members of the team and all staff were very professional. I think they are an exceptional bunch of people that provide a great service to our community.  I would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care we received on the ward. The staff I saw were very professional and caring.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on your positive experience at Kununurra District Hospital. It can be a very daunting experience when your child needs a surgical procedure, and I am glad we provided a safe and supportive environment for you and your child.

We are extremely grateful to the ENT teams that visit the regions, enabling children to have their procedures close to home. We are also privileged to have a wonderful bunch of staff who truly want the best outcomes for all patients. I hope your son has recovered well.
