"Feeling let down"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Came to ED with lower left quadrant pain that migrated into my chest. Had to ask multiple times for pain killers while waiting after being told it would be given straight away while being triaged. After being moved to a bed the doctor who came to examine seemed to have already made up a diagnosis without ever seeing me and refused to listen when I tried supplying information that contradicted this. I was accompanied by a family member who felt the same way with my treatment from this doctor. When explaining the type of pain and where it was it appeared that the doctor lost interest as they started asking other questions over my answers about things unrelated to my presentation. Felt very let down about not being listened to and made to feel like I don’t know what I’m talking about.
