"Incredible lifesaving treatment"

About: Joondalup Health Campus / Emergency Department Joondalup Health Campus / Intensive Care Unit

(as the patient),

Sorry to took so long to thank you formally Joondalup hospital. In June 2021 I was admitted to ED and subsequently diagnosed with a septicaemia. I rapidly deteriorated and was operated on and admitted to ICU. For the medically minded I had a CRP of 598! Due to the care of all staff in ICU, HDU and Ward 2, I survived to tell the tale. Particular thanks to Dr Murray (Surgeon),  Dr Jonathon (Infectious diseases) and the incredible staff on the ward. I will always be indebted to Joondalup hospital and its incredible staff.

Thank you for taking time out to share your experience at Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) Intensive Care Unit (ICU), High Dependency Unit (HDU) and Ward L2 in 2021. We are pleased to hear your experience was so positive and you felt the care and treatment provided gave you the opportunity to overcome a very serious illness.

JHC values promote that staff show compassion, attentiveness and professionalism and we are grateful to have the feedback you have provided to share with the Medical and Nursing Staff involved in your care.

Please accept our best wishes.
