"Blood tests/Pathology Collection"

I am a difficult patient to draw blood from, most of the time needing to attend multiple providers within a day to get one vile, and the pathology staff at Box Hill Hospital were not only amazing at their blood draws for my GTT (I required 3x draws over 3 hours), they got each draw first time every time which has never happened for me, and they listened to and understood my history of difficult pathology experiences, and were very responsive when I advocated for myself.

Special shout out to Rose who after learning of my history came to check on my progress throughout my time there to ensure I was feeling OK about the whole experience.

This experience has certainly helped me regain some bravery and resilience in an environment that has traditionally been quite challenging for me to navigate. I am very thankful to all the staff today for the care and expertise they provided.
