I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank Gemma who has gone above and beyond in her support for our daughter- she has been the most amazing advocate we could have hoped for. She has taken the time to hear our challenges and goals in a gentle and compassionate manner. Gemma’s intervention has made a big difference in our school for improving the standards of care for other Autistic children.

Gemma presented at the school to our entire support team from many different disciplines including an Occupational Therapist, Support Co-Ordinator who is doing her Masters in Autism, Deputy Principals, and a Social Worker who is an experienced Positive Behaviour Specialist. She used language that communicated my daughter’s needs perfectly and that everyone understood.  The entire team was very receptive of her approach, which showed how much time and effort Gemma had taken to develop a positive rapport with everyone. The information presented to the school was evidence-based and client centred. Our family is very grateful for her effort and we wish we had been able to have Gemma’s support earlier ✨.
