"After having hiatus hernia"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Surgical Ward

(as the patient),

After getting CT scans last month I was admitted into ED in Bunbury regional Hospital. CT scan showed I had blood clots and pneumonia on my lungs. The care I received from the nurses in surgical ward for several days was second to none. These people were absolutely amazing.

One particular nurse by the name of Beth (surname unknown) was incredible. She made the difference to me in a way that I can’t describe. The difference between losing my mind and staying sane.

I believe whatever these people are paid it is not enough nurses are so underrated and underpaid. Please pay them more. They’re worth their weight in gold.

Good Afternoon Bridgey761,

I would like to thank you for letting us know that the care you received while you were with us at Bunbury Hospital, and in the surgical ward, was of a high standard. Being in hospital is always a worrying time for people and I'm glad that staff were able to reassure and give you confidence in our service. I shall certainly pass on your positive comments to the nurse whom you have named.

I hope that you are continuing to recover well now that you are at home.

kindest regards,

Jenny O'Byrne
