"Caring experience in ED"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Prince of Wales ED with mild respiratory problems, and was in and out in 2.5 hours. The triage nurses were so kind and made me feel less anxious, and the doctors were clear and made me feel relaxed and looked after. I have an intense fear of needles and I couldn’t proceed with some suggestions. However, they discussed alternatives and let me lead by choice to do some things as an outpatient. Though I’m still scared, I feel much more secure with getting tests done. They had reassured me all throughout the process. Thank you so much! Dr Chloe was also amazing and kept me in the loop, special shout out to her!
