"Care of a dementia patient"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / DB3N - Cardiology Ward

(as a relative),

I had a parent in the Dickson building 3 north, 2weeks stay and I had the worse experience ever! My parent was unable to feed themself ,suffered from dementia and I recall the staff never bothered to feed them at all

Their food was left untouched their area was pathetically dirty bed sheets stained and not changed. I approached the staff at the desk and stood there saying excuse me and I recall they all ignored me and much more .

I’m disgusted with the experience my parent had to experience. Never again!
