Our family would like to say a massive thank you to Hennessy who is a PCA at Esperance Hospital. 

Hennessy saw that our little one was struggling with Mum being in pain and took the time to engage with him, distract him from the situation and took him to play on the playground for a well needed break.

Hen, we can’t thank you enough for what you did. It may have only been 20 minutes out of your day but your completely changed the way our little man felt about visiting the ward.

You helped our little boy get through that day and your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you so much xx

Dear Farmerswife

Thank you so much for taking the time personally to acknowledge Hennessy, it has given us great pleasure in sharing this with Hennessy and it made her day. Whilst we often get lovely stories about our staff it is nice to have one about our patient care assistants, the care they provide in our departments and the kind and caring support they provide to patients and their families is so valuable.

I do hope you are well on the road to recovery, take care.
