"Terrible experience"

I was recommended Knox Private by a family member who had undergone the same procedure that I went through.

In my opinion, the post operation after care by the nurses in the ward was so negligent. To feel so vulnerable and not be taken care of in a way you need is such a lonely and scary feeling and that’s exactly how they made me feel.

I felt my dietary requirements weren’t respected, I waited hours for pain relief medication, I had to disconnect my own IV drip to go to the toilet several times alone because the nurses weren’t able to help me, being asked by the nurse when my last dosage of pain relief was as it wasn’t recorded, being shaken awake in the morning to be told that I need to leave within 30 minutes before even speaking to the doctor. I could go on and on.

The car ride home I was in complete tears. I have never experienced anything like this before. I will continue to deter anyone who asks about my experience at this hospital
