I was asked by the admin person if I was there for an eye problem and directed to wait until the Dr arrived to work. He was helpful but quite blunt in his affect with average people skills for a front-line person. Next the Triage nurse called me in and was extremely helpful, understanding and empathic to my problem, she conducted some general observations and eye procedures on me then placed me back in the waiting room until the Dr arrived. The Dr called me in on time as advised and proceeded to collect collateral information on my problem. She then proceeded to conduct a number of eye examination procedures in different rooms, at all times keeping me informed on what she was doing. She then consulted with a senior Ophthalmologist and introduced me to him. He was also professional explaining his examination of me and answering my questions. Finally explaining my diagnosis and prognosis. My first doctor then prepared a discharge summary for my GP and myself and clearly explained what follow up I needed to take. Then I thanked them and left very happy with the treatment received. I couldn't fault the professional care and service I received at Sydney Eye hospital
