I had an accident recently where I injured my knee. I have fractured my tibia plateau which is stable and I also have a bit of meniscus and other soft tissue damage which hasn’t been diagnosed yet because there is too much swelling for an MRI.
I went to outpatients orthopaedics recently and on that day- it’s not their fault as they were a doctor short- but it was a 2.5 hour wait in a wheelchair with my leg down. I went in to see the doctor and I got on the table and they were examining my leg and then at one point they wanted me to bend the knee to see how far my foot could come back towards the knee.
So I’m laying on my back with my right creeping toward body and at a certain point the doctor had their hands on my shins and it came back, it was extremely painful, as painful as when it happened, and I couldn’t get a clear indication of why they did it. It was very traumatising and they didn’t explain it, they seemed to be saying I had moved my leg too far, but I can't even move my leg, and now I don’t know if that’s indicating more damage
"Painful examination without explanation"
