"Geraldton ED RN & DR"

About: Geraldton Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Today RN Katie and Dr (cannot remember name sorry) cared for our Mum/wife with advanced dementia. They were both so pleasant and empathetic during the course of the afternoon. We could see and hear how busy ED/they were and both of them were so professional and caring and took their time with Mum. Thankyou both very much for your care, smiling faces and empathy.

Dear atlasts69

Thank you for sharing your family’s experience with us on Care Opinion.

The aim at Geraldton Health Campus is to provide respectful and compassionate care to everyone that presents. It is always pleasing when a family member takes the time and effort to let us know when we have got it right.

I’d like to make sure that RN Katie and the Doctor are rightly acknowledged for their excellent care. I would be very grateful if you would contact my colleague, Gordon Millar, Clinical Governance Support Officer, on either 9956 2427 or wachs-midwestcgu@health.wa.gov.au so we can obtain a few more details to identify the doctor involved. This will allow us to ensure they are aware how much your family appreciated them.

Thank you again for your kind words and I hope your Mum/wife is feeling well.

Regards

Cameron Ross
