Recently had heart attack, some what surprised as my only risk factor was a recent gain in weight. I had also had several stress tests and an ECG over the last couple years.
I had ignored warning symptoms in the days approaching the attack in the early hours of the morning as I didn't think I should be having a problem.
My wife called an ambulance and they arrived promptly and efficiently had me off to RPH in Perth, great service.
Without any holdup I was taken straight into emergency assessed and moved into the cardiology ward. They delayed the angiogram until latter in the day.
I had two stents installed. I can only say the facilities, care and support was outstanding and I have no complaints at all. They whole process was amazing. Well done to the WA medical system.
