"Radiography/emergency care"

About: Leongatha Memorial Hospital / Urgent Care Centre

(as the patient),

I  attended to undergo a CAT scan, the first attempt at which was extremely painful due to the injury incurred. Radiography staff were very understanding and they involved nursing and emergency staff to treat me for pain and distress so that the procedure could eventually go ahead.

Emergency staff were totally engaged in following up results and did not want me to leave until they were ok with the results. Against advice I did leave but received a phone call from the attending doctor to convey the results.

I felt surrounded by care and professional expertise and it has given me confidence in being able to age (I am late 70s) well supported in my community
