"Lack of care"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Recently I had an operation at Bunbury hospital, discharged the following day. Presented back to my home town hospital due to being in serious pain, all was good there they ended up sending me to Bunbury hospital with all paper work and everything organised and told me to go into ed and the surgeons will be waiting for me.

When I got to the ed in Bunbury I walked up to a staff member behind the desk that I felt was incredibly blunt and rude and told me I need to be triaged. I then seen a triaged nurse and was told to sit in the green chairs where I sat for 4 hours and only once being checked on I ended up leaving as I believe this is beyond ridiculous. I had driven 140km there for absolutely nothing wasn’t offered pain relief nothing. I then had to drive 140km home in excruciating pain. Bunbury hospital is the worse hospital I have been too, this has happened to me so many times in the last 6 months. I am beyond disgusted with the system at this hospital I think something seriously needs to change here.
