About: Lives Lived Well - Mackay

(as a service user),

My association with alcohol had been gradually deteriorating over thirty years. Finally I decided to seek help with Lives Lived Well in Mackay. Through group therapy I was able to share my story and gain insight and tools needed to get through my binge drinking. The staff at Mackay were supportive, professional and on the level and were available anytime I felt I was slipping back. I found fellow members were open and willing to share their stories because of the safe environment in which therapy was provided - no judgement. I would highly recommend this life changing avenue for rehab for drug and alcohol dependency, bad habits of if you feel misuse is starting to get out of hand.

Support is so important, and with the staff in your corner you have the tools to really make a change. It's also good that you felt heard, and were able to share your story, and listen to other participant stories.
