Recently, my son dislocated his elbow, and we were fortunate to receive exceptional care at every step. From the moment St. John Ambulance arrived at the Busselton skate park (special thanks to Craig for his therapeutic sense of humour) to the highly skilled and welcoming team at Busselton Health Campus Emergency Department, the experience was outstanding.
A special shoutout to Nurse Sarah, who despite a challenging shift with several complex patients, found time to make a much-needed cup of tea for this parched parent. Dr. Kelly’s expert reduction of my son’s elbow and Dr. Gavin’s sedation expertise were both impressive. Thank you also to Nurses Julie, Tracey, and their colleagues (apologies for not recalling all the names!) who assisted with the procedure.
I also want to acknowledge the fantastic support staff and security personnel who helped maintain a calm, safe, and smooth environment throughout the day.
Your dedication, skill, and work culture truly stand out, and we feel incredibly grateful for the care we received.
