"My dad's care post stroke"

About: SMHS Rehabilitation In The Home (RITH)

(as a relative),

The amazing team of Physio, OT & Speech Pathologist were so amazing and patient and respectful. Our home isn't set up for guests. We don't entertain at all having a mini zoo of dogs & birds we rescue & who are extremely noisy & loud. We are an extremely private family as a result & to have 3 carers in & out of our house constantly was something we all had to accommodate in this new situation & come to terms with quickly.

All 3 care providers were so adaptable, patient and respectful of our very awkward setup and soldiered through assisting my dad in the awkward circumstances as they presented. We often took ages just to open the front door while we wrangled pets into rooms and the car to make way for a quiet session.

Thank you. We appreciated your professionalism and care and attention and kindness to him. And he appreciated it too.

Dear sagittariusne55

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the service you recently received. We are very fortunate to have such dedicated staff working within RITH, the acknowledgement of their patience and respect means a great deal to us and shows we are demonstrating our team values when working with our patients and families. I will ensure I pass the compliment on to the staff involved in your care.

Wishing your dad all the best in his ongoing recovery

Kind regards

Kate Gatti
