About: Royal Perth Hospital / Acute Surgical Ward 6G Royal Perth Hospital / Emergency Department Royal Perth Hospital / Short Stay Surgical Unit Ward 4A & Day Surgery Unit Ward 4B/4G

(as the patient),

I attended RPH ED and 4a with a surgical problem.

From ED to 4a and discharge I received excellent care.

Annette at triage was understanding and compassionate.

In RADA NP Denise was professional and efficient.

The 2 RADA nurses Alana and Tashe where both great.

The 4a Nurses Giselle and Amanda where both very nice and understanding.

Sue the PCa was funny and lifted my spirits.

The theatre team where all great but I can't remember their names  particularly the anaesthetic tech

The Asu team with Dr W were very professional and excellent.

I witnessed some horrible treatment by other pts towards the staff caring for me and they all managed to smile and rise above the unfounded abused directed towards them.

It was lovely to read you felt you received professional, compassionate, and excellent care from the staff at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) during your recent admission. It was disappointing to hear you witnessed some patients treating staff horribly however I was pleased to read the staff continued to smile. It assures me that our staff are continually striving to provide high quality, patient centred care.
