(as a relative),

On the weekend my grandaughter suffered extreme abdominal pain.  When we first attended the ED Dr Joe thoroughly examined her with kindness and patience and discharged her home but reassured us not to hesitate to come back if she got worse. This we did later in the day. We then received wonderful care from Dr Jenni and Nurse Lisa plus several other nurses who assisted. 

After a consult with Dr Joshi (Surgeon) she was admitted for suspected appendicitis. Nurse Hannah on the ward was very attentive and patient as well.

Luckily all tests came back clear and was diagnosed as severe gastro.

My grandaughter at no time through the whole ordeal felt scared (maybe a bit when she had to have a needle ☺) but felt comforted and cared for at all times.  

So a big thank you to everyone involved in her care.

It is great to hear we are consistently providing care to a high standard - with several specialties and departments noted in your compliment. I have personally presented this to the staff you have mentioned, and they have taken this with great pride. Staff are always very satisfied when they hear they have made a difference to someone's life.

I hope your granddaughter is feeling improved and again thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We are always encouraging our consumers to provide all types of feedback so that we can ensure our service remains at a high standard.
