After experiencing severe dizziness, I was taken to Albany Hospital by Ambulance and was received by the Emergency Department.
The staff - mainly the nurse and doctor examined me and explained clearly what they had diagnosed as being my problem. I was then assigned to the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
The treatment and care I received in that unit was excellent and I was made to feel at ease even though I was worried. The concern expressed by the Clinical Nurses and the care they provided was par excellence and the examination and subsequent explanation of what my ailment was, as expressed by the Doctors, clear and concise. This certainly gave me a lot of confidence in the care and follow up that I should avail myself of from my GP and Cardiologist.
So I am deeply grateful and unreservedly thankful for the care I received by the Medical Staff of the Emergency Department and High Dependency Unit of Albany Hospital.
I would also like to thank the Paramedics who took me to the hospital and who attended to me while I was being transported - they were calmingly excellent.
I have nothing but praise for the Albany Hospital Emergency Department and the High Dependency Unit.
