"Child health Moora"

I had my first baby in Moora. 

Firstly I was able to have a shared care plan with the lovely midwife Martha for my pregnancy which meant I was able to travel less to midland and receive a more personalised care service close to home throughout my pregnancy.

After having my baby I met with Angela who was our child health nurse. As this was our first baby having a child health who approachable and engaging was paramount. Angela was available and informative to all of my questions. She also ran the local mothers group which now that I live In a different town, I realise is massively important in a country town setting where motherhood can be very isolating. 

I am grateful for the support that I received during such a vulnerable time and hope that the health department continues to support such a valuable service.
