"My Visit to ED"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I ended up in the ED in the morning with a miscarriage.

From the moment my husband and I were greeted by the receptionist, to the triage nurse (Dennis) through to the fast track and short stay

(Ellen), with Dr. Robyn, it was the best possible experience.

Everyone was so kind, efficient, skilled and communicative- we always knew what was happening and everyone went out of their way to keep us informed and in the loop.

A special shout out to Dr. Robyn who was so respectful and understanding of our experience and spent time with us, explained everything so well and made us feel like a part of the process. She made sure we left with follow up plans (even though it was tricky to navigate!) and felt ok to come back if we needed to.

Thank you to the whole team!
