Thanks for sharing your story about your positive experience in your journey through our Karratha Midwifery Group Practice. I am glad to hear you and your partner felt supported and cared for through the program.

The MGP model is an internationally recognised, evidence-based initiative, providing quality and sustainable midwifery-led care. Whilst the model is relatively new to the campus here in Karratha, your story demonstrates this service gives local women and families the opportunity to be supported and cared for by a known midwife throughout their pregnancy journey and shows us this model increases parental satisfaction with care. WA Country Health Service is very proud of the work these dedicated midwives do to ensure expectant mothers and their families have high quality care, closer to home.
