"Lack of 'service/care" at Emergency."

After having had something annoying in my eye all day, during the evening whatever it was moved and was stabbing into the inside of my eyelid and eye- pretty painful!

My spouse drove me to Emergency, where we waited 10 minutes just to see anyone! 

After getting paperwork done was told to take a seat and someone would see us "shortly".

An hour later the triage nurse gave me some eye drops and said they would get a doctor to look at it....

Another 3 hours passed- absolutely no acknowledgement i was even there...

Eventually i went and asked if they had anyone who was going to see me, and was told "no" and it could be another 2 hours before they looked at me...

Really not good enough in my opinion...

They then gave me some more eye drops and some pain killers ( helped a little, but still in lots of discomfort) - my spouse and i decided to go home (4.30am by now!) -as they couldn't give me a waiting time... possibly 2 more hours!!

We thanked them (for pretty much Nothing) and left. 

Went to a clinic next morning and they couldn't believe how poorly i had been dealt with, especially for an eye injury!
