"thank you LLW"

About: Lives Lived Well - Woolloongabba

(as a service user),

Last week I finished LLW’s three weeks long program at Wooloongabba.

Joining the program was not an easy decision for me. I have social anxiety and I always feel apprehensive about joining group programs. I did not know what to expect really.

Now that I have completed it, I am glad that I joined the program. It was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.

Recovering from addiction is a long process but I truly feel I am better equipped now to continue a substance free life.

I recommend LLW’s programs to anyone who is struggling with addiction issues.

In my experience the staff members are approachable and supportive. I truly appreciate non-judgmental approach and professionalism of the staff members at LLW.

> To everyone at LLW Wooloongabba (especially Stewart, Mel and Mel) ... THANK YOU!

Dear MeKnoNoAnglais,

What a great story. Thank you for sharing it. It's great that you overcame your anxiety and were able to not only join the program but complete the program. You should be very proud of yourself.

You're right when you say recovery is a long process, but it's only a day at a time - so work on that and always know that you can reach out for additional support if you feel like you need it.

All the best for a substance free future and remember to reach out, or re-enroll in the program if you need to!:)

Kind regards,

Lara
