"Mental health"

About: St John of God Midland Hospital

(as the patient),

I was told I would be going to a permanent team for help with mental problems and depression as the people I was seeing we're just the triage group. Meanwhile this is 5th time I have seen these people and first time they're told me that. But then just before Xmas they called me in to let me know the have changed their mind and I should go back to my GP as they had a group meeting and decided that I was not welcome there.

I then heavily implied I would leave and go end it and I recall my social worker looked me in the eye and smiled and they said that's good, good bye. I am hoping they were just over worked and didn't understand what I had said but at this point it seems to me like there trying to get me as upset as possible over Xmas.

This is just one of many things Midland mental health have done to me they seam incredibly unprofessional in my opinion.

Dear Mental Health,

Thank you for your correspondence. I was very concerned to learn of your experience with the mental health services over the Christmas period.

While some time has passed, it is important to us that you receive the care you need. Please contact our Patient Experience Team on 9462 4901 so we can discuss how we might help you during this difficult time.

Kind regards,

Gail Miller
