"Eye surgery mistreatment"

About: Albany Health Campus

(as the patient),

I feel the nurses are not to blame for passing on the apparent garbage from others. Diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes in May 2023. Have been messed about ever since in attempting to get eye surgery, including some from the lions eye institute and great southern specialist centre.

Several complaints were made over a long period of time to a number of entities and I believe the responses have been blatant lying and contradictions.

Had surgery done on LHS eye late last year and it took less than 15 minutes. Currently on third waitlist with no referral. No reasons were given for removal from waitlists in breach of arrangements made. No pre-admission appointments were made. Offers were made to do pre-admissions and outstanding paperwork on surgery days before surgery. Had both lenses measured twice in 2023. Told lenses were at the Albany hospital in 2024 and two entities wanted my lenses measured again on more occasions.

Given, I believe, misinformation and different information over admission times (even before the hospital opens the front door) and surgery day fasting requirements.

Prescribed eye drops that should not be used after first cataract surgery, according to documentation from the manufacturer. Before first cataract surgery a cannula was inserted into arm and not used, no injections were given either.

I believe I was placed on overseas database without consent and in breach of privacy laws. The actions of some seemingly denying medical treatment is, in my opinion, beyond gross misconduct. I believe it was deliberate premeditated depraved behaviour and it was continuously repeated (along with several attempts at deception) even after being warned.

Up until recently haven't had pub grub and a pint for more than eighteen months. I was not able to maintain my farmhouse properly and have more outstanding matters (including other medical matters). I took several photos of my farmhouse (now that I can see it with one eye) and there were several shades of blood on a bed sheet.
