"Poor treatment of patients in a mental health facility"

About: Moodjar Ward

(as the patient),

I helped a fellow patient with a serious blood nose....blood streaming down their face kinda deal. I felt the staff on shift antagonised us and threatened my discharge...because I helped. I am a medically trained Veteran. I felt they used intimidation tactics and were abusive.

In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable....especially in a mental health facility. I am in the process of writing an official complaint and speaking up against the poor treatment of patients here.

This occured on the Moodjar Ward, Leschen Unit of the Armadale Hospital in Perth.
