"Sincere thanks to the State Major Trauma Unit"

About: Kalbarri Health Centre / Emergency Department Royal Flying Doctor Service Royal Perth Hospital / State Major Trauma Unit Ward 3G

(as the patient),

I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to the outstanding staff of the State Major Trauma Unit for their professional care and compassion during my six days in your care for a Pneumothrax and several fractured ribs back in November. I think you are awesome and your managers should be very proud of you all! I would like to extend my above thanks to the Emergency Department, Xray and Imaging and the Anesthetist unit staff. I believe that we as a State are very fortunate to have you all.

Thank you so very much!

Kindest regards,

Riptide2

Dear Riptide2

Thank you for sharing your experience with us through Care Opinion.

I was delighted to read that the team at Kalbarri played their part in the high quality care you received. In consultation with our Emergency Telehealth Service they can provide crucial emergency care until you can be safely transferred by our colleagues at St Johns Ambulance and RFDS to the tertiary care at Perth. I will ensure the Kalbarri team are made aware of your kind words and I will add my own appreciation of the great care they provide our community every day.

I hope you have now recovered from your injuries and I wish you all the best for 2025.

Regards

Cindy Owen
