About: Katanning Health Service / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Staff of all levels across a few days have been wonderful, caring & efficient. Excellent patient care experience.

Came through ED for emergency on Friday evening & was seen within 30mins by 2 nurses Jade & Nic & 2 Drs Tim & (young male). Very impressed. 

Alex on General Ward nightshift was well organised, calm, attentive to every detail of my documentation, care & comfort. Very grateful for that patience & knowledge when I was barely conscious.

Fully detailed handovers witnessed several times.

Diabetic meal planning not so functional but the actual food served (with no prior notice) arrived at correct temperature, tasted good using seasoning provided, with generous serves.

This is not my previous experience, perhaps 3star at best based on very limited Dr availability & small serves - but credit where credit is due.

It is concerning that the diabetic meal planning did not occur smoothly but so glad that the food was suitable and an improvement on your previous experience. We will work on the planning aspect.
