About: Kalgoorlie Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had to go to ED twice over the Christmas/New Year break and my experience was above and beyond my expectations. The Clerks were very respectful, the Nurses so professional and the Doctors were compassionate and extremely thorough.

I believe Dr Ali is an asset to Kalgoorlie hospital, he ran tests very promptly, examined me thoroughly and took time to listen to my concerns. He gave me his diagnosis and advice in a very clear manner.

Going to hospital can be a very anxious time but the care provided to me was very reassuring. The only thing I could fault was the dilapidated condition of the building and the grounds, surely Kalgoorlie deserves a brand new hospital. I don't think it has changed much in the past 50 years.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m thrilled to hear that you had a positive experience while visiting our Emergency Department over the Christmas/New Year period. Your feedback truly means a lot to our staff and motivates staff to continue to deliver excellent health care. I will specifically make sure that Dr Ali is made aware of your kind words.

We have been working with our gardening staff and local contractors to tidy up our grounds, especially in the mornings before the very hot weather sets in. I hope if you do have to come back soon that you receive the same great service and you see some improvement as a result of their hard work.
